Been listening to a bunch of new CDs. Here are the ones I like out of the batch.

Carrie Akre, Invitation

Cool, jazzy alternative type music

The Postal Service, Give Up

Kinda like 80s electronic music, most of the music is computer-based, but with good vocals and melody. Story is that these two guys passed the tracks back and forth over the internet to make the album.

Firewater, The Man on the Burning Tightrope

One of my most favorite bands, demented carnival music.

Kenna, New Sacred Cow

A little of everything, one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long time, go out and buy now.

Jonatha Brooke, Back In The Circus

Folky, melodic, singer-songer writer music. Another one of my favorite artists.

The new James Bond PS2 game, Everything or Nothing is really good, but kinda hard.

Its 1:45 am on a Monday morning and have no idea why I’m here at this website starting this blog. Maybe I’m bored, maybe it was all the damned caffeine I shouldn’t have had all day. The shot of scotch whiskey didn’t seem to help. But I really shouldn’t have spent all that time looking for old friends and out of business companies that I use to work for. No luck there, old friends seem to not exist on the web and those companies I use to work for are still out of business. What was I thinking? Seems like every once in a while I feel a need to do the same searches for the same people. Probably think I’ll find someting eventually. Probably just be easier to call around and find these people in the real world, but thats no fun, don’t really want to talk to them, just want to make sure they are okay. Who knew how much of a time waster Google could be. Anyway, looks like I’ll have a rough time waking up for work again.
