Copy Protected CD BS …. Again!
I can’t believe its now the latest Dave Matthews CD that has copy protection crap on it, which means one cannot easily rip MP3s from it. This is total BS. I buy over a hundred CDs a year and even believe that people who download music for free is stealing music. I simply want to put the CD on my MP3 player and it should be protected under fair use. Anyway, a simple Google search gave me the instructions on how to get around the copy protection.
Update: good news, you can skip the instructions in the link above, just hold the shift key while inserting the CD into the computer and keep holding until the CD spins up. This will bypass the copy protection junk and allow ripping.
