Still can’t get a Wii? The Walmart Wii gift card not good enough for you? How about a pack of gum in a tin that looks like a Wiimote? From a distance the gum package looks like the real thing. I still don’t get why these things are being sold at the check out counter at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. But I was stupid enough to buy one and it is an official Nintendo licensed product. The gum itself is a little bit nasty.
My niece Liana can’t get enough of the Wii even though her mommy and daddy were nice enough to bring one home last Xmas. She knows where the local video game store is and when we are near she runs to the store shouting “Wii”. If we don’t go inside and play she gets upset. Once in the store she asks to be picked up so she can play the Wii. Here she is playing Super Mario Galaxy with a little help from daddy. Although the picture doesn’t really show it, she does understand that swinging the Wiimote around will make Mario do stuff.
But how about about a Walmart gift card with a picture of a Wii on it? As far as I can tell its just a normal gift card, so you can put any amount on it and you can buy anything in Walmart with it. Its worse than the official Wii rain check, but better than the Pringles can with the Wii foil seal.
This has been a busy week for the PS3, a whole mess of really great looking trailers were release this week during E3. Can’t wait for these games to come out, better start adding to the PS3 games fund.
